Dodge Diesel Performance Details

Dodge Cummins Diesel engine is very powerful in stock form, it lends itself quite easily to upgrades. Though rated at only 245 hp (for the High Output model) in Dodge Trucks, Cummins previously offered this engine to marine customers with ratings as high as 370HP!! Obviously, the engine is detuned to meet Dodge Diesel performance specifications.

Here's why:

  • There are a number of Dodge diesel trucks that have achieved over 200,000 miles while also putting out over 500HP-- more than double the stock power rating. A handful of Dodge Diesel trucks have even broken the 700HP mark, without any damage to the engine compo entry. The Cummins diesel is exceptionally tough.
  • Dodge Diesel has a Choo Choo (Chattanooga, TN) conversion, which includes leather interior, rosewood dash kit, stainless steel running boards, Rhinoliner, and Progressive aluminum wheels, and fiberglass front air dam with driving lights.
  • Dodge Cummins Diesel engine maximizes engine efficiency by monitoring the RPM, timing, turbo boost pressure and fueling parameters to determine both fueling and timing enhancements for the Bosch fuel injection pump.
  • Dodge Diesel Performance provides an additional 65 rear wheel horsepower, an additional 185 foot pounds of torque and installs in minutes. Simply plug the Power Edge connectors into the ECM Data Link connection and MAP sensor.
